College Football - 3 September 2011

Only 2 games on the card. But one of them should be a cracker with TCU @ Baylor.

Early last week we took Baylor +6 and u56. This market moved as we though and TCU were down at -3.5 with the total also bet down.

However the line movements and rumors around the game we have decided to play a middle in this game.

TCU @ Baylor
Baylor +6
TCU -4
u56
o52

Good luck and hope your team wins.

College Football Futures

Tomorrow marks the return of College Football. Here at AussieSportsGuys we have been looking forward to this moment for a couple of months with plenty of time and dollars tied up into the upcoming season.

Here is a list of our current future bets for this season. Please note that the odds on these may no longer apply.

BCS NATIONAL CHAMPION

Wisconsin - $41
South Carolina - $51
Texas A & M - $51
Arizona State - $101

CONFERENCE CHAMPION

ACC

Virginia Tech $4

SEC

Alabama $3
South Carolina $9

PAC 12

Arizona State $7.50
UCLA $35

Big 10

Wisconsin $4.00

Conf. USA

SMU $8

A few of these picks like Arizona State have been taken with the view that they will be a good chance for making the conference title game. The value attached with each pick will present nice hedge opportunities if everything pans out like we think.

However so much can change so quickly. A team like Arizona State has been struck down with injuries over the past month. As a result the Pac 12 South has opened up a bit more and we have taken a ticket on UCLA at $35 with sportsbet.com

The excitement of College Football is almost here.

Good luck for everyone involved finding a winner.

College Football - 1 September 2011 *Update*

Note- We have previously taken Wake Forest @ Syracuse Total o49.

We noticed some value in the line at the time but we are not happy with where the total is moving. As a result we have bought back that wager by taking u49.5.

One further game has been added for the weekend.

BYU @ OLE MISS
Total o56.5

A late morning play was taken by AussieSportsGuys.

With word that Northwestern QB Dan Persa may miss the season opener against Boston College we quickly took the -3 available.

The game was quickly taken off the board and will be around -4.5.

As previously noted we have already taken u46.5 on this game with the total now around 45.
