NCAA BBALL

The Final 4 is set with an amazing tourney finishing with no 1 or 2 seeds left standing.

UConn v Kentucky will be a cracker. UConn run has been amazing capturing the Big East title and now one win away from the National Championship game.
Kentucky will be tough to get past though and I dont mind the $2.38 for them to win it all.

Wonderful effort by VCU and Butler and will be a cracking game also. Im on the VCU bandwagon and hope the underdog can prevail at the +2.5.

AFL ROUND 2

Money for Geelong (+6.5 into +3.5) and Essendon (+6.5 into +2.5) so far. Geelong a couple of key inclusions with Chapman, Ling and JPod.

In saying that im not sure if the cats have the pace to stick with Fremantle on the big Subiaco Oval. Dockers -2.5 looking pretty good.

Western Bulldogs will be keen to have a big win after a poor effort in Round 1. Still no Lake and Gilbee hurts a little, but without big Johnno Brown I can't see Brisbane kicking a competative score. I expect the dogs to jump and run and the -20 for the 1st half looks good.

Collingwood -37.5 appeals. North Melbourne on the quick back up from a tough game in the heat of Perth last week. Against a high pressure Collingwood side I expect them to stick with them early but the pies to run the roos ragged at Etihad on Saturday.

Also like Port Adelaide hth at $1.46. West Coast have a young side and have some big outs with Mark LeCras done for a while with a bad groin injury. Think Port will be to strong.

4 game multi will return around $10 for a $1 investment.

Amazing effort by the Zona Wildcats getting over Duke today. Derrick Williams is a BEAST!
My boy Kemba carrying the huskies into the Elite 8. Going to be some sorta game UConn v Arizona.

Black Caviar now 11 from 11 amazing.

AFL Round 1 -
Line was perfect for the Richmond Carlton game when you could get -19.5 for Carlton and +20.5 for Richmond. Carlton u39.5 and Richmond +20.5 both covered with the Blues getting up by 20. Although terrible kicking made it alot closer than it should have been.

St Kilda Geelong was another terrible boring arm wrestle for the first half. Thankfully the game has opened up a bit. Geelong not only covering the +5.5 but winning the game straight up by 1 point in the last 30 seconds.

Some good moves in the lines from when they opened during the week.

Hawthorn -4.5 into +0.5
Fremantle -7.5 into -1.5
Melbourne -8.5 into -3.5
West Coast -8.5 into -7.5

Although both Fremantle and North are on the road. Brisbane and West Coast will most likely finish in the bottom 3. Fremantle are a finals team and North improving.
The Hawthorn Adelaide game is a tough one as both teams are expected to make big improvements this year and make a push for the top 4.

Going to be a big season.

Studying the form for Round 1 of the AFL season. Can't believe nobody offers total gamescore over/under. Always wary of Rd 1 and playing any games.

A little worried of Carlton missing a few key backmen and with Hardwick I think the Tigers will be keen to show up this year.

The public is loving the Blues in a big win, but would not be suprised at all if the Tigers cover the 20.5 that is available. Although upon looking at the numbers Carlton u39.5 at $2.15 would appear the smart option.

MASSIVE weekend in sport AFL, Cricket World Cup Quarters, Black Caviar and the NCAA Sweet 16 which should be AMAZING!!! Pumped for the UConn v SDSU game.

Just a run of the mill aussie bloke who loves a beer and the punt.

Love my AFL, although the American sports like NCAA Basketball and Football is on a whole other level.

Looking forward to the new season and hopefully can back a winner.
