Scottish Premier League - Week 11 Preview

Scottish Premier League – Week 11 Preview

All six games this Saturday, with the Kilmarnock/Celtic game the early one. After a week off from the Euro qualifier, we return with six quality games, all on the Saturday. Kilmarnock and Celtic kick off in the early game.

Kilmarnock v Celtic (Celtic @ $1.36)

Without doubt Celtic have been struggling for form. Last time off a break they smashed Motherwell 4-0. While I think the $1.36 is unders, I cannot see Killie getting any points in this one - their form has been ordinary of late.

Aberdeen v Dundee United (Draw @ $3.20, Dundee United @ $2.70)

Aberdeen have definitely improved of late, smashing 4 goals past an ordinary Dunfermline, AND it could’ve been more if not for some outstanding goalkeeping. I like the draw in this one, but Dundee United’s away form makes me want to throw a few bucks on their win also.

Dunfermline v Hearts (Hearts @ $2.00)

Dunfermline have been very poor of late, while Hearts come off a home win against Celtic. I don’t expect this to be an absolute walk in the park as Hearts have struggled when they have to force the action as I expect they’ll have to do here. Still, happy to take the $2 on offer for a Hearts win.

Hibs v Motherwell (Draw @ $3.20, Motherwell @ $2.55)

Hibs have been playing good football of late and I can see that continuing in the game at home to Motherwell. Will take the draw but also back a Motherwell win as they should really win. The value is in the draw however.

Rangers v St Mirren (u2.5 goals @ $2.40)

Rangers should win this, but I see it as low scoring. Therefore, the $2.40 on offer for under 2.5 goals scored looks enticing. Definitely the value bet in the game, unless you want to try to predict the final score. Good odds on offer.

St Johnstone v Inverness CT (St Johnstone @ $1.90)

St Johnstone have the hottest SPL striking partnership at the moment and hopefully the international break did not make them cool off. St Johnstone should win this though, as you know, I have a lot of time for Inverness. Not at McDiarmid Park however.
